Victoria Falls is known as the adventure capital of Africa. There are a huge range of adventurous and/or elegant pursuits that cater for visitors who enjoy the outdoors and African wilderness. The activities on offer at Victoria Falls are open all year round and can be broken down into four simple categories: Adrenaline, Safari, Scenic and Cultural. Depending on what your preferences are, there will be no shortage of options to consider when you visit the falls. It is best to pre-book and pay for your activities online before you visit the Victoria Falls. Not only will this save you time but will also ensure that you are able to do the activities you want.

Adrenaline junkies can white water raft, river board and jet boat in the Batoka gorge below the falls. Additionally there is also bungee jumping, abseiling, zip line and gorge swinging over the Zambezi river. For the truly brave at heart the Devils Pool swim in the Victoria Falls pool is an exhilarating experience.

Wildlife enthusiasts have the option to encounter the Big 5 on half, full and multi-day safaris in the Chobe, Zambezi and Victoria Falls National Park. Birding, fishing, canoeing allows for soulful wilderness immersions whilst walking with lions and the elephant back safaris promise unique wildlife experiences.

The helicopter and micro-light flips over the falls present an incredibly scenic way to experience the perspective of this natural wonder. The steam train experience and guided tours around the town provide an historical taste of this unique town and the Victoria Falls Bridge whilst ending off your day with crocodiles, hippo and bird life during a sunset cruise and dinner on the Zambezi river is unforgettable. For golfers there is the Gary Player designed championship golf course.

Should you choose to meander around the town you will meet lots of local people and be exposed to a number of local restaurants, cafes and bars. The tour of an authentic African village and the Boma Dinner experience are fantastic way to take in a slice of traditional African life.
